Head Coach
USA Deaf Track & Field Head Coach Thomas Withrow is from Glenn Dale, Maryland. Thomas has 28 years of playing and coaching experience in Track & Field for High School, College, National, International and Deaflympics teams
If Thomas were to explain his experiences from 8 Summer Deaflympics, it would be a book. He is grateful for each Olympics, which had their own character and personality. The 2009 USA squad that went to the Taipei, Taiwan games was one of the best, and looks forward to 2012 and 2013.
Withrow intends to find the best athletes and bring them to Toronto to represent USA. It is always great to see athletes winning medals, but seeing athletes giving everything they have to give to compete is equally inspiring.
