2007 World Deaf Basketball Championships
The 2nd DIBF World Deaf Basketball Championships was held in Guangzhou, China on 22-30 June 2007. The website is http://www.wdbc2007.org.
UPDATE
The US Women's Team won the gold by defeating Sweden, 64-56, and is the only team to have placed first in basketball world championships. Greece took the bronze with a 69-58 win over Lithuania.
The US Men's Team did not fare better than its silver-medal performance in the 1st world championships. This time it was a bronze win against Slovenia by the score of 92-82. Lithuania became the world champions by defeating Greece, 87-78.
