USADSF to Host Deaf Sports Reform Seminar and Delegate Meetings

SIOUX FALLS, SD — October 29, 2007 — USADSF will be hosting several annual organizational meetings during the weekend of November 30 – December 2, 2007 at Gallaudet University. On Friday afternoon, the Executive Board will convene its board meeting. The NSO Council is scheduled for Friday evening. On Saturday, an all-day seminar will be held to discuss the potential impact of the international deaf sports community's Deaf Sports Reform on USADSF. The House of Delegates will convene Sunday morning and conclude by noon. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend.

The theme of the seminar is "The Future of USADSF: Deaf Sports Reform". Background information on deaf sports reform is briefly outlined in President Lawrence Fleischer's semi-annual report.

All meetings will be held in the Student Academic Center, SAC room 1010, at Gallaudet University. The SAC is located in the lower left corner of grid C3 on this map. Visitors are instructed to contact for lodging reservations. One-person room with linens will be $30 per night. Two-person room with linen set will be $40 per night.

FRIDAY - November 30

NSO Council (6:30 – 8:30 pm)

Information packets regarding the House of Delegates were sent by the USADSF Home Office to NSO representatives and chairs of standing and ad hoc committees.
