Learn Target Shooting and Represent the USA at 2009 Summer Deaflympics!

SIOUX FALLS, SD — June 27, 2007 — Do you already have shooting experience, or are you interested in learning this fun and exciting new skill? Did you know there is an organization, USA Deaf Shooting, whose goal is to train interested deaf individuals?

We are announcing a terrific opportunity to train with us and participate in shooting competitions leading up to the 2009 Summer Deaflympics in Taipei, Taiwan on September 1-12, 2009. If you are interested in participating in this exciting adventure, we hope you will contact us. Through training and support, we hope the USA will be able to compete better than ever in shooting events.

An athlete must be at least 13 years old and have a hearing loss of at least 55dB in both ears (3 tone frequency average of 500, 1,000 and 2,000 Hertz, ISO 1964 standard) to be eligible to participate in the try-outs and the Deaflympics.
