Tryouts for 2007 US Ski and Snowboarding Team
TELLURIDE, CO — September 6, 2005 — The US Deaf Ski & Snowboard Association (USDSSA) will be hosting a tryout event at Telluride, CO during 12-19 March 2006.
Athletes who make the team will represent the US at the Deaflympics in 2007.
This is a tremendous opportunity to improve your skiing or snowboarding skills,
meet other athletes like yourself and be a part of a team! No previous racing experience is necessary but strong skiing and snowboarding skills are required.
We will train you how to race through the gates during the tryouts! Half-pipe skills are strongly desirable for those that are interested in competing in the half-pipe.
USDSSA is working to provide half-day racing clinics before the tryouts at different locations in the US.
If you are interested in learning more about the race clinics and tryout events during the 2005-2006 Winter Season, please go to the USDSSA website
