Guest Editorial: Why was there a drop in US Team's medal count?
The article was published on page 16 in the May 2005 issue of SIGNews.
Unfortunately, due to an error in compiling a list of athletes and staff on the
2001 US Team and a missing TOTAL column, the table shown in the article is
incorrect. The correct 1989-2005 medal tally table is as follows:

Also, work is underway in compiling a comprehensive database of
all US Team members at every international competition. The link to the database
will be announced as soon as it is ready. This database project serves as a
catalyst for the reunion of US Team members at the 2007 Winter Deaflympics in
