CSD Launches Innovative Video Relay Services

On March 31, 2005, Communication Service for the Deaf (CSD) launched CSDVRS, which is an innovative service where a caller using sign language communicates with a live video interpreter via a video connection. If you have a video connection, start your video dialogue now at www.csdvrs.com.

The CSDVRS announcement is available in a CSD-issued press release. CSD is an invaluable supporter of USA Deaf Sports Federation.

Please note that if you have a high-speed Internet connection but don't have video equipment to handle video calls, you can fill out an application form with CSD for video equipment free of charge. Click here for the CSD Free Video Equipment Application form. Beware that you must meet certain requirements as listed on the application form in order to qualify for such equipment. Once CSD verifies your application and has the equipment in stock, CSD will have a technician contact you to make arrangements for on-site installation and testing.
