In addition to our primary mission of supporting the athletes, we also recognize people who have displayed exceptional performance or service to the deaf and hard of hearing in the world of sports as athletes, coaches, leaders, writers, and officials.
Those names you find in the Hall of Fame were dedicated for their contributions to our rich history of efforts and accomplishments
in sports. They are role models and set a benchmark for deaf and hard of hearing individuals to compete, coach, officiate, lead, or write.
USADSF recognizes individuals in the following categories:
• Athletes
• Coaches and Officials
• Sport Leaders and Writers
Great deaf and hard of hearing athletes of the past and present have unique stories to share with us, and their experiences serve as a reminder for tomorrow's athletes to perform to the best of their abilities in the spirit of the Olympic motto Citius, Altius, Fortius (faster, higher, stronger).
The purpose of the USADSF Hall of Fame shall be to honor who have displayed exceptional performance or service to the deaf in the world of sports as athletes, coaches, leaders, writers and officials.
