There is plenty of beautiful scenic sights

where the nearby 12th World Deaf Cycling Championships will take place.

It is only 2 miles off the coast to Pescadero.

Old Stage Road and North Street

This intersection will be the starting line of the 12th World Deaf Cycling Championships.

This Old Stage Road begins with a 7-mile long hilly one-lane road and two moderate climbs.

2.7 laps = 73.44 miles = 118 kilometers

It has fantastic descents from Pescadero to San Gregorio leading to Highway 84

through the Australian evergreen trees, they are widely cultivated for their gums, resins, oil and wood.

This city of San Gregorio is where we make a right turn onto La Honda Road (SR 84).

A relatively flat road and slight ascending at the end on excellent pavement heading to the East for 7.6 miles.

Pescadero Road climbs steeply at this turn and levels off briefly then the real climb begins.

This is a long 3-mile acending grade

The cyclists will see this hairpin turn that marks the beginning of the real ascent.

The beginning of a 600-feet and 2-mile climb known as the Haskin's Hill

The pace may increase sharply at the first hill as the climbers start negotiating for position at the base of the climb.
