NextWeb of Covad Communications to Provide Live Video Coverage of World Deaf Cycling Championships
FREMONT, Calif.,- World Deaf Cycling Championships is pleased to announce a partnership with NextWeb, a division of Covad Communications, in providing comprehensive live video coverage. NextWeb will provide 10 hours of streaming video for the 1000m sprints and 40km Points Race on Monday, June 19 and Thursday, June 22, respectively, while updates during the races will be reported live by DeafNation, another WDCC media partner.

Hellyer Park Velodrome selected to host 2 events.
The San Jose Hellyer Park Velodrome has been selected to host the Sprint and Points Race events during the week of June 18th to 24th, 2006. International deaf cyclists, their families, and friends will travel to San Francisco to participate in the weeklong competition. Hellyer Park Velodrome in San Jose, CA, has been a popular venue for track racing for over one hundred years.
